You can read about Belle Lamunion, 1864-1848, and her amazing box of family memories here. Belle married Henry H Fellows, 1858-1905 in 1879 in Ashland Township, Newaygo County, Michigan. The cast of characters is located here. There is an accounting of people about whom I have little information here.
When I took Belle’s Box to a reunion, several people took cards that were connected to their direct ancestors, and I am glad. I did take photos of as many of them as I could before they disappeared. This group of posts are those that I was able to photograph. There were duplicate photos so when I renumbered the photos to titles I could use, I deleted the dupes. Missing numbers do not mean missing items!

I won’t be home don’t no (sic) when. Eunice is no better. From Belle.
Eunice Fellows Smith, 1891-1954, was Belle’s daughter, her sixth known child. This card was sent from her home near Walton, Michigan. I sure wish I know the year. Eunice married Hiram Horace Smith, 1875-1952, on 29 April 1909. on 29 January 1911 she gave birth to a female child at Walton Junction. The baby’s birth is recorded in Grand Traverse county records, 1911, No 18, there is no record of the baby girl after that. I cannot find a death record, nor is there a burial record in the cemetery at Walton Junction where most of the members of the Smith family are interred. Eunice and Hiram’s second child, Henry Zachariah was born in 1918 and lived until 1986.
Eunice’s obituary states that she married Hiram in 1909 and lived at Walton eight years before moving to a farm in Colfax Township. Colfax is in Wexford County. Since Belle was in Walton to care for or help Eunice, it seems that it was sometime around 1917 or 1918. I cannot find a 1920 census record for the family, just another mystery!
