Dear Sister. I wish you a merry Xmas Wish I could have come up Lew & Sadie was up a week ago last Sunday and they want us to come down there Xmas but unless that the wether gets better than it is now we cant think of going I got quite a surprise in Saturday I got 31 cards They came from all over Ione goes to school she commenced after Thanksgiving

This is the third card I’ve seen from the collection written by Eliazbeth Lamunion Bisard to her youngest sibling, Belle. It’s difficult to date this card, but Ione may have started school between the ages of 6 and 8, so the card was probably written in December of 1908, 1909 and 1910.
