You can read about Belle Lamunion, 1864-1848, and her amazing box of family memories here. Belle married Henry H Fellows, 1858-1905 in 1879 in Ashland Township, Newaygo County, Michigan. She married Charles “Charlie” Tinker on 15 July 1914 in Cadillac, Wexford County, Michigan. The cast of characters is located here. There is an accounting of people about whom I have little information here.
When I took Belle’s Box to a reunion, several people took cards that were connected to their direct ancestors, and I am glad. I did take photos of as many of them as I could before they disappeared. This group of posts are those that I was able to photograph. There were duplicate photos so when I renumbered the photos to titles I could use, I deleted the dupes. Missing numbers do not mean missing items!

Dear Aunt.
Pa has been hurt quite bad and Ma has rheumatism in her arms thought we would let you know. Pa is resting some and ? upon a narrow escape most ? home tomorrow.
Olive
Thee are two individuals named Olive Lamunion in my database. The one who sent this card would have been born 25 July 1887 to Merritt Windfield “Scott” Lamunion, 1851-1935,and his wife Emma Adelia Widger, 1853-1929. Olive was the fourth of seven children born to the couple, who married in 1877. Scott was Belle’s brother.
Olive married twice, to Rev. Mark Bigelow in 1905 and to Edwin Kew in 1850. The 1920 and 1930 census for the Bigelow family list a son or foster son named Marcus. I have found nothing further on Edwin Kew beyond the marriage record, and nothing for a son named Marcus. Just more mysteries!
