You can read about Belle Lamunion, 1864-1848, and her amazing box of family memories here. Belle married Henry H Fellows, 1858-1905 in 1879 in Ashland Township, Newaygo County, Michigan. The cast of characters is located here. And, there is an accounting of people about whom I have little information here.
When I took Belle’s Box to a reunion, several people took cards that were connected to their direct ancestors, and I am glad. I did take photos of as many of them as I could before they disappeared. This group of posts are those that I was able to photograph.

Dear Grandfolks,
I’am in the army/’now. Ill write
from Fort Custer
Let the folks know
your grandson
Henry Smith
Henry Zachariah Smith, 1918-1986, was the son of Hiram Horace Smith, 1875-1952 and Eunice Fellows, 1891-1954. Eunice was a daughter of Henry and Belle Fellows. Belle married Charles Tinker in 1914, so Charlie and Belle were the only Fellows/Tinker grandparents Henry would have known.
Why Henry chose to write his grandparents instead of his parents is a mystery, although the families lived in close proximity.
