    I have Long and Kelley or Kelly in my family don’t know of any in Michigan. The Long family came to North Georgia around 1840 before that they were in Tennessee.

    I think we are dealing with different Longs and Kelly’s. My Longs came from Alsace-Lorraine, the disputed French/German territory, and then to Canada. The Kelly was in Butler county, Kansas when he married Henrietta Long.

    The above message states that Henrietta Long was married in Butler County, Kansas.
    Today, I found two old pictures of Henrietta Long, of Whitewater, Kansas in an antique store. Whitewater is in Butler County. Could this be the same person? I would be glad to email them to you. Pictures are pre-1900.
