Read about this series of posts, regarding items in a box originally owned by Belle (Lamunion) Fellows Tinker here. The cast of characters is located here. And, there is an accounting of people about whom I have little information here.
The numbering of these posts had been modified to signify that I am posting items from my archival book two, hence the 2-xx numbering.
Christmas Wishes
There was ….’a multitude of the heavenly host praising God.
Luke 2:13
As our thoughts turn
to that first
Christmas scene
in Bethlehem so long ago,
So our thoughts turn to you
wishing you
happiness at this Joyous
Christmas Time!
Lewis Emma
Bisard
I was surprised at this one. Frank Bisard was a nephew of Belle, son of Franklin and Elizabeth L. (Lamunion) Bisard. I had previously found that a daughter of Frank and his first wife, Sadie/Sarah Miller lived with Sarah’s parents after her death.
I did a search for Frank Bisard in the new Family Search pilot site, and found a marriage for Frank in 1919 to a Katharine Morrisey in Muskegon, Michigan. That doesn’t explain Emma!
But, looking down the list I found Frank’s death certificate. He died in Akron, Summit County, Ohio on October 25, 1948, age 74 years, seven months, twenty-two days. His usual residence is listed as “Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan”, and burial was at a cemetery there. The certificate lists his parents as “unknown”, his birthplace as “Nuego Co” Michigan, and his widow as Emma G., age 67. He had been in the hospital 3 days and in Akron for 59 days. The informant on the certificate was Gertrude N. Tanguburg. I have previously known that Frank died in Ohio, but not the exact place or date.
The bottom line is that this card was to an aunt from a nephew and his wife.

Cool that you found a third wife just from a Christmas Card.
