Time to skin the pigs. I know many people scalded and scraped them, but this looks like a skinning!

This photo looks like an old settlers or neighborhood picnic. It is printed on a post card.

If it is a family reunion, I hope we get this many at our reunion next Sunday!

Item number 3-97 is a nice boy with a dog.

Item number 3-99 is a man with some horses. This might be George Lamunion, Belle’s brother. He was sometimes described as a teamster in a logging camp on censuses.

This nice lady looks a little like the girls pictured here. We don’t think she is one of them, but we wonder if she might be the third sister.

If I was forced to guess, I would think these ladies were two of the Murray sisters, daughters of Mary Ann Lamunion and John H. Murray. Perhaps the older two, Eliza J. 1876- 1960 and Ina Belle, 1878-1964. There was a lot of correspondence in the box from the girls, and their sibling Etta, 1883-1864. But, I really have no idea who they might be.

Wow! Here’s a big family, even for the time. There are nine children here, just looking at this bunch makes me tired. Imagine hauling water for this gang, or cooking, or washing. I guess a few of the boys could help, but this is a crowd.

It looks like the two boys in the front might be twins. If you know who this family is, please contact me.

Well, I’m in a hurry now. I have posts of items from the box scheduled through the reunion date. I want to post all items before the reunion next Sunday August 2, 2009, so I’m working to make that happen!

These are all photos of people I can’t identify. They must be friends or family of Belle; if you can identify they, or if you own matching photos, please contact me.

The man pictured in item 3-68 seems quite nice, and pretty well dressed, compared the the subjects in the majority of the photos. He might be a Lamunion, a Jones, or even an unrelated neighbor or friend.

3-69 is a more up to date photo of a child.

3-82 is a photo post card of a young child.

3-83 is a nice looking family. They appear to be dressed for church, or some special occasion.

3-85 is a casual photo of a young lady.
