Thank you for your time and effort. My g grandmother was Asenath Cook and her son Nelson. I would never have found them if it wasn’t for dedicated people like you. Thank you

    Hello Pam,

    Great site!

I was looking for information on Joshiah Smith who is listed in this cemetery. We are pretty sure of the following, but are still collecting recors to support or disprove our hypothesis: My 4x grandpa William was Johiah’s brother and came to Ohio with him from Scipio, NY and before that we think they were born in Belchertown, MA.

So far I have located 4x Granpa Wm’s grave stone in the Farewell Retreat Cemetery just outside of Republic, OH along with some of his kids. I now wish to see if there are any more records of his kids, and grand kids. Do you have any info on this cemetery?

There is a lady named Nancy Fellows that has a Fellows Family Tree on ancestry.com. She is also a decendant of Erastus. If you haven’t, you might take a look at her tree and possibly contact her. I know she made a trip to Seneca county recently.

Hi, Bill. Thanks for the complement. We are in touch with our cousin, Nancy, but thanks for mentioning it. If we hadn’t been I’d be thrilled. What you see here is what I know about the cemetery. We looked for it after finding a transcription showing a name of our ancestor. Best of luck in your search!
