Belle’s Box – 149

This entry is part 151 of 342 in the series Belle's Box

Read about this series of posts, regarding items in a box originally owned by Belle (Lamunion) Fellows Tinker here. The cast of characters is located here. And, there is an accounting of people about whom I have little information here.

Sister Tinker,

The Paris Green has
come I have it here
at my place. This
card is a little late
or early I don’t know
which. but never the
less it will cost you
a car ride just the
same. Ha! Ha!
Murta Harden

This is the third card I’ve found from Murta Harden, who were neighbors of Belle in Colfax Township for some time. The others are items 105 and Item 126.

I looked up Paris Green, and found that it was used as an insecticide. The stuff was pretty dangerous.
