Since Belle became “Tinker” after 1914, I searched the 1910 census of Wexford County, Michigan and was rewarded in finding Cora or Cara Blomquist on the census in District 147, Liberty Township, Wexford County, Michigan, sheet 2. She is living with a husband and two sons. In 1910 Belle was in Cedar Creek, a neighboring township.

I had no luck figuring out who “Emma” was. There are many Emmas on the area census which start with G or H and end in y; it could have been any of them. The woman Belle was supposed to invite may have been from one of the “Olney” families in the area. There was one Olney family in Cedar Creek township and two in Colfax Township, which is also close.
