Oakland County Genealogical Society and Detroit Society for Genealogical Research January Joint Meeting

On Saturday, January 9, 2010 the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research, in conjunction with the Oakland County Genealogical Society, is pleased to present a program titled "Detroit and Wayne County - Where are the Records?" Our guest speaker is Ruth McMahon, an accredited Genealogist for 23 years and who specializes in Michigan and Midwest research, will talk about locating and searching records in Wayne County. Please join us for this informative meeting.
The meeting will begin at 2:00pm at Christ Church Cranbrook, 470 Church St. in Bloomfield Hills (from Woodward, take Lone Pine Rd. west to the Church). The church will be open at 1:30pm, so plan to arrive early to enjoy refreshments, browsing, and networking at this OCGS/DSGR joint Saturday meeting. The public is invited, and there is no charge.
