The Detroit Society for Genealogical Research is sponsoring a Research Trip to the newly expanded
and recently reopened, Allen County Public Library on Saturday, February 28, 2009. This will be the 23th annual trip our group has planned to this premier genealogical research library. The cost of the charter bus trip is $35.00 per person ($40.00- non-member). Included in the cost will be juice and donuts served on the bus in the morning (please bring your own hot beverage). You may purchase a ($8.00) box supper to be served on the return trip. Or, you may bring your own snacks for the return trip. The National Trails bus will leave from the Lawrence Technological University parking lot in Southfield promptly at 6:30 a.m. The trip takes approximately 3 ½ hours each way. There is a rest stop each way. You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the designated parking area. Please note: We will return to Southfield between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. There is neither a phone nor an inside waiting area at the University parking area. A letter with further de
tails will be sent to all confirmed applicants. A waiting list will be maintained to ensure that all 55 seats on the bus are filled. Refunds will be made only if the bus is filled. DSGR will return money to those not clearing the waiting list by 7:00 p.m., Feb.27, 2009.
Please duplicate the application form for additional persons. One check may be sent to cover all persons in your party, but separate Application Forms must be included.
