Converstations, comments, phone calls, panic attacks and the like indicate any in the OCGS family have serious concerns about the computer world, getting into it, and surviving. There is so much more to computers than surfing the Net, but it can be intimidating. The intent this evening is to address these concerns on a very down-to-earth level and take a look at computers through a Genealogist's eyes.
The Oakland County Genealogical Society meets at 7:00 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month, October through June (except January) at St. Stephens’s Episcopal Church, 5500 N Adams between Long Lake and Square Lake roads, Troy, unless otherwise noted (see June). The Church has a flat entrance and ample lighted parking.
Meetings are open to the public, free of charge., and everyone are welcome
