Ted Jensen, Ph.D., of the Bloomfield Hills Michigan Family History Center, will present on the topic, “LDS Family History Library - Facts, Assets and Future”. The Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah is a unique resource to the world. The history of the library, the resources of the library and the announced expansion of assets will be discussed. The opportunity to join the effort to index records and the newFamilySearch.org web site will be introduced. These new resources will make worldwide access to the everyday expanding source materials for Family History Research as close as your computer.

Jensen is an Oakland County resident, now retired (Research Chemist) from Ford Motor Company. He was born in California and spent his childhood there. Michigan has been his home for more than twenty-five years. He has frequently made presentations on Family History methodology, resources of the Family History Library and Centers as well as the internet site FamilySearch.org. Himself an active researcher, with over 23,000 individuals identified and listed in his family file he continues to do research at home and on the road.
