It has come to my attention that the sun won’t be shining today. It should be, we’re having an early end to this week. Tomorrow, Papa and I will head out to The Roberts Centre, Wilmington Ohio to see a great bluegrass show, the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival. Interesting how Joe Mullins got all the important things in the title. Music. Indoor.
Dailey & Vincent are on the bill for tomorrow, and we’re looking forward to seeing them and the LRB. We somehow missed the LRB at Fanfest, I think we were watching showcases when they came on, real late one night. This weekend will also be the last time we see the current configuration of the Grascals. When we see them at Jekyll Island on January 2, 2009 their new banjo player will be on-board. In fact, during the New Years Festival at Jekyll we will see the new configuration of three great bands, The Larry Stephenson Band, Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, and the aforementioned Grascals.
We’re getting close to the end of a great year, and headed for another. Be there!
